Sheila Aylesworth is a retired Student Resource Assistant. Her responsibilities included positive, communication with people from all walks of life; students, faculty and applicants to programs.

During and since retirement, she has utilized these skills to become a published writer. Her humorous, personal experience articles have garnered much community attention, including a featured article in a national magazine, Canadian Living.

In her personal life, she is a grandmother who's hobbies include: playing guitar, gardening, travel, cooking, genealogy, part-time studies, history and volunteering as a music therapist in a nursing home.

She recently discovered Facebook and blogging which gives her a further outlet for her muses, rants and humorous takes on life.

She looks forward to her literary adventure as a writer for Suite 101.
